This quote by ParkeHarrison fully depicts what his work is all about:
"My photographs tell stories of loss, human struggle, and personal exploration within landscapes scarred by technology and over-use…. [I] strive to metaphorically and poetically link laborious actions, idiosyncratic rituals and strangely crude machines into tales about our modern experience." - Robert ParkeHarrison
I really enjoy the couples' work for they have a weird but awesome mystertious elements. It gives a different vibe of humans losing a sense of reality.
The couple has a book called: "The Architect's Brother" it is book that contains all their photography work. The book was named as one of the 'Ten Best Photography Books of the Year," in 2000 by The New York Times.
